When should I schedule my maternity session?

I like to schedule maternity sessions just after the 3 month safe point.  You want to have your photo session scheduled at around 32 weeks gestation.---This way you are absolutely adorable, glowing, but still able to move around (semi) comfortably!

 

How Do I schedule a newborn session?

The best time to schedule a newborn session is before your precious little one has even arrived!  As soon as you know you would like Melissa to photograph your newborn, contact her with your due date so we can mark it on the calendar and prepare for your little ones arrival.  When your baby arrives, you will contact Macko Photography withing a few days to set a definite session date.

 

When should my newborn be photographed?

Newborns change soooooooo quickly!  Because of this, newborn portraits are only captured within the first 2 weeks, when babies are nice and sleepy, and flexible.

 

Do you reschedule for incliment weather?

Because I am an on location photographer, I will watch the weather forcast closely to ensure we have the perfect day for shooting.  If there is incliment weather coming, I will contact my clients to reschedule their shoot so that they have the best experience and the best pictures that I can offer them.

 

What should I wear?

Good clothing choice is key to a great photo session!  For group sessions, you definitely should coordinate.  Keep it simple.  Stay away from large busy patterns and logos.  Wear some fun shoes!  There is nothing better than a pair of great boots or heals. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What do I get with the "Session Fee"?

When you pay a session fee, it is just that.  You are paying for your photographers Time & Talent.  All prints and keepsakes are sold separately. 

 

Do you have a studio?

I am working on the whole convincing my husband bit!  I dream of one day opening up my own studio, but for now, it is just a dream and I only shoot on location.

 

Do you offer Military Discounts?

Absolutely!  I am a proud wife to a career Army veteran and offer my military families 10% off of their session fee as a Thank You for their time in service and for serving our country. 

 

When should I schedule my E-Session?

Girl, schedule it as soon as he pops the question!  When we plan a location, I want you to think about a location that has significance to the two of you.

We also offer "Save the Date" cards for print.

Do you offer a discount for weekday weddings?

I do offer 10% off of weekday weddings.  This includes Monday through Friday!

 

How long until I can view my images?

I typically say between 2 and 3 weeks.  This allows me time to hand edit each image to its finest and provide you with an online viewing gallery which I will e-mail you the link to once your images are ready to view.  After viewing online, you may select your images that you would like printed, canvased, or as digital downloads, etc.  I do offer digital downloads with print release!  Inquire within for pricing.
